After nearly two years in custody, Private First Class Bradley Manning is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at a general court-martial at Fort Meade in Maryland. Manning faces 22 counts, for his alleged leaking of classified material to the website Wikileaks, and critics say some of the harshest charges against him are meant to make an example of him, to dissuade anyone from leaking any sensitive information in the future.
