A powerful car bomb in Damascus and fighting between government troops and opposition fighters elsewhere are testing a shaky temporary truce in the Syrian conflict on the occasion of the Muslim Eid al-Adha religious holiday. State television on Friday said quoting “preliminary figures” that the “terrorist car bomb” in the capital had killed five people and wounded 32 others. Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports.
