Defensive measures without using weapons. The first National Passive Defense Conference was inaugurated in Tehran. More than a hundred civilian and military officials and experts from Iran’s Passive defense Organization were at the conference. Iran’s Defense Minister elaborated on his country’s biggest achievement in the area of Passive Defense. The head of Iran’s Passive defense Organization noted that a working group aimed at countering the West’s economic war against Iran has been set up. He added that the “resistant Economy” which is one of Iran’s priorities differs from “Economic Austerity”. Passive Defense translates to all activities that would increase stability, facilitate crisis solving techniques, keep the necessary utilities working at all times, create deterrence against enemies and increase defensive capabilities without using weapons.
